Welcome,
Absurdism is the philosophical perspective that explores the inherent conflict between humans search for meaning and the indifferent “illogical” universe that arguably offers none. It posits that life is fundamentally without purpose, and this realization can lead to feelings of disorientation or existential dread.
In literature and art, absurdism often manifests through themes of chaos, irrationality, and the futility of human efforts to find coherence in life.
Albert Camus, who drew inspiration from Søren Kierkegaard, argued that individuals must confront the absurd condition of existence and find personal meaning despite the potential meaninglessness we exist within.
Here you will find my confrontation of the absurd and my effort to extract, capture, and share, meaning from this life.
Enjoy.
